Lena has mentioned her pets in several interviews, having as many as five dogs and used to have two hamsters, a bunny and some gold fish. And also the fact that she supports PETA tells us that Lena is very found of animals. She has also said that she has been a vegetarian for many years.



In an old interview she mentions her bunny but we don't know if that one came with her to the US or if it's still alive.

"In The Brothers Grimm (2005) I was supposed to kill a rabbit. I refused to do it and saved it as a pet in my flat."

At the 'The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson' in January 11, 2008 she talks about her three dogs:

"I have a couple of sausage dogs..."

In December 2008 Lena was spotted with four dogs in total and she has said herself that she's the owner of that amount. But we have counted to as many as five or six!

And what we know so far is that one is called Wizard and he's beagle, Angela Lansbury (nickname is Angie and previously called Nugget) named after the British actress and she's a Brussels griffin. Then there is Monket, Skippy and Irish, whom we don't know the kinds of.

In January 28, 2010 the IMAY Fansite posted the sad news that Lena and Pete loss their beloved dog, Tanner.

"She kind of looks like a sort of fat squashed ewalk..."

"...And the fat squased ewalk.. Not that she looks like the person she's named after, but she kind of does... her name is Angela Lansbey."

"My friend told me she kind of looks like a Brussels griffin and she's named Angela Lansbury and I said 'She kind of does!'"

"A friend of mine saw her and said — she [the dog] was called Nugget — and she went [speaks an American accent], "Oh my God, she looks like Angela Lansbury!" And I went, "Oh my, she does," and then that was it. In a nice way, it's a compliment to Angela Lansbury."
